“I was attracted to this home for many reasons. It has great curb appeal! I have done a lot of work to the landscaping in the front, and in the spring, when the flowers are in bloom, there is a beautiful combination of large, tall purple flowers and small bluish/purplish flowers in the ground cover. The different colors of all of the plants against the rock, which serves as drainage, is beautiful. In addition to the curb appeal, I was looking for a home with wood floors, a fireplace, and a soaker bathtub as my top three "wants" in a new home. This home definitely had everything that I was looking for—and a large, brick patio to boot. This is a great home for outdoor entertainment, as it also has a gas line for the perfect BBQ and mature trees for lots of shade during hot, sunny days. I believe the consistent ComEd ‘great’ ratings (I have never had a report less than ‘great’) are partially due to the protection of the trees. Regarding the area, the school system is great.
